Andy brings nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology to his role as CEO of OpenTempo. Prior to joining our team in July 2015, Andy had executive responsibilities for Cerner Corporation’s population health solutions. Andy originally joined Cerner through its acquisition of PureWellness where he served as vice president of sales and marketing and was instrumental in driving the company's rapid growth, leading market position and eventual sale. Andy's career experience also includes both commercial leadership and strategic planning roles for both IDX Systems and McKesson Corporation. Andy graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Mathematics and lives close to Burlington.
A career entrepreneur, Rich launched his first venture, 6 Degrees Software & Consulting, Inc., which created successful products and service lines for the software tools, corporate training, research, legal and medical markets. In 2006, after significant market research and analysis, Rich launched his initial services for the healthcare space. In 2013, we re-incorporated as OpenTempo, Inc. to reflect the company’s singular focus and commitment to our product and the medical systems market. At the same time, he brought on the company’s first external investors. Rich continues to be the driving force behind our market approach, staying ahead of market requirements, maintaining our competitive advantage and contributing to bookings growth. Rich is also an active member of the OpenTempo Board. Originally from Long Island, NY, Rich graduated from the University of Vermont and lives in the Burlington area.
Travis serves as OpenTempo’s Chief Technology Officer and manages all aspects of product design and development as well as the company’s technical operations. Travis started his career with Rich Miller working for 6 Degrees before working as an independent consultant and software developer and eventually joining IDX Systems (and later GE Healthcare) as the leader of Customer System Management. He eventually rejoined Rich and started OpenTempo in 2006 and has been with the business since then. Travis has a BA in computer science from Boston University. He loves rock climbing and has written a comprehensive book on climbing in Vermont (Tough Schist). He lives in the Burlington area.
Sarah leads OpenTempo’s Customer Operations team including our customer contact center, implementation and project management, and our enterprise program management and business continuity service lines. Sarah started at OpenTempo as a project manager and was promoted to her current role in 2016. Sarah brings over 15 years of department and organizational leadership — primarily in the not-for-profit sector — to her role. Sarah graduated from the University of Vermont and currently lives in the Burlington area.
